Yellovator is LIVE! Smash a phone or two…

Yellovator is the result of a collaboration between Yellow Pages®, Clemenger Proximity Melbourne and Millipede. And we are thrilled with said result. A sincere congratulations to all involved. It was an amazing effort.

What is Yellovator? Get on with it you say?
Yellovator is a game that can be played via rich media banners, on incredible outdoor metrolites, or at http://yellovator.com.
So what?

Well, it utilises the Flinders Ninjas Engine, enabling users to use their smartphone as the game controller! Help Smasher Dan send phones with helpful Yellow Pages® searches to the folks in the street below.

Here’s the buzz from Smasher Dan himself on the launch party held in Hosier Lane, Melbourne http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9NcJNoumrA.

Also, while you’re knocking about town, keep an eye out for our Yellovator game locations around Melbourne at Southern Cross Station, Flinders St Station (Yarra River side) and South Yarra Station. If you happen to be up in Sydney soon, you can play the game at our Martin Place or Alfred St, Circular Quay locations!

MADC 2011 judges announced…

MADC have just announced the judges for 2011. If you direct your gaze to ‘Digital’ category you will notice an esteemed judge indeed! Look out agencies! Your humble supplier now holds a card or two! …but not that many. I promise I’ll be good.
I’m really honoured to have been asked and am greatly looking forward to being involved. Thanks MADC!
Can’t wait to see how many Millipede built projects have been entered – we usually find out the day after the awards ceremony.

The Good Mates Guide

Good Mates Guide

The Good Mates Guide is an awesome initiative by Tasmania Police and friends Clemenger Tasmania. The Mate Minder app, lovingly built by Millipede, is for keeping an eye on your mates, their whereabouts and being able to call for help quickly if needed. Also a handy tool for tracking ones spouse if they are on a night out with the “boys” or “girls”…

Available on the Australian App Store, grab the app and look out for your mates!

Also, check out the Good Mates Guide on Facebook. There’s some pretty hilarious content on there. The Know Your Knobs album sums up everyone at Millipede…well, mostly Wil.

Bullistic awarded Film Victoria funding!

We have received some fantastic news. Bullistic has been awarded a development funding grant by Film Victoria as part of their Games Investment program! We will be using these funds to turn Bullistic into a full featured paid application. New levels, new bulls (unlockable, instead of paid) and no holds barred. Bullistic will have a much more ‘adult’ feel in it’s humour, stunts and …violence.

For everyone whom has paid for the current bulls, we sincerely thank you. You will be personally gifted the new paid app as soon as it’s released.

As usual we’ll keep you well updated and involved in development.

We are really looking forward to get back in to developing Bullistic. We can’t wait to bring you more levels, more bulls, more fun and more laughs.
